Order Details

In-stock Items

In stock items ordered online will normally be shipped or ready for pick-up next business day.

Backordered Items

Cabinets and most large accessories are not kept in stock. Any item we don’t have in stock is listed on your order as “backordered”.  These will be addressed on a case by case basis. Typically, we receive cabinets within 2 weeks, hardware and accessories vary depending where they are coming from. Studio 5 Interiors will provide you with an expected arrival time for all items when we process your order, be aware they are guidelines only. We cannot be responsible for delays out of our control such as labour strikes, truck breakdowns, staff shortages, etc.

Customer Pickup

Studio 5 Interiors will make the goods available for pick-up by the Customer at 335 Banks Road. Ready-to-Assemble cabinets arrive flat-packed, in cardboard boxes. The boxes can be quite heavy, and it is recommended to have assistance when picking up. Please don’t count on our staff to help load. Studio 5 can help arrange delivery with a 3rd party service if you’d like. Our preferred delivery service will typically cost anywhere from $170-$250 depending on size, and will deliver your cabinets to a convenient area inside your home. We feel it is a good value, considering the amount of work it will save you!

Delivery Delays

Studio 5 Interiors will notify the Customer of any delays that may affect the expected delivery date. Studio 5 Interiors is not responsible for third party delays.

Term and Termination

The Return Policy below is in effect as soon as we process your order. We don’t stock any large items such as cabinets and accessories, so these items must be returned to the suppliers, and you will be charged a restocking fee.

Cabinet Warranty

No refunds will be provided for the goods received under this contract. Goods are warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship until one year from the date of pick up. Wood is a natural product and variations in colour and grain should be expected. 

As necessary for the installation, occasionally hardware will be exposed on the bottoms of the cabinets. The overall quality of the cabinets is according to the showroom displays.

Removal of old cabinets and delivery of new cabinets is not included in the warranty.

Hardware that is damaged due to improper installation, excessive load, or misuse is not covered under warranty. Studio 5 Interiors reserves the right to replace defective/ failed hardware with the current offering available and does not guarantee interchangeability of hardware.

Definition of defects

Door face: defect larger than 1/8″ in length or diameter

Door back: defect larger than 1/4″ in length or diameter

Edges: When applying the edgetape, there may be a pronounced seam where the edgebanding and the face of the door meet. This seam may be discoloured, sharp, or have irregular pitting and possible chipped edges. Only defects that expose the core (MDF or plywood) of the door will be covered under warranty.

Non-visible cabinet components: Including but not limited to backs/ sub front/ bottoms of drawers, exterior of the cabinet that is covered by panels, countertop, etc., i.e. all those components which would not be seen in a typical installation. No defect of any size will qualify for warranty/ replacement.

Damage from shipping or mishandling is not covered under warranty.

Hardware Warranty

Studio 5 Interiors is a retailer of Marathon, DTC, and Salice cabinet hardware.

In the event that any of these products is found to be defective in either workmanship or materials, such products shall be replaced free of charge, for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns the products. If a product is no longer available, we will replace the defective hardware with a current offering.

The limited lifetime warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect installation or any consequential and/or incidental damages incurred as a result of incorrect installation
  • Hardware that has been exposed to excessive loads, abused, or used in any manner other than its intended purpose
  • Removal of defective hardware, delivery costs, or installation of new hardware

Return Policy

Our refund and returns policy is 30 days from receipt of goods. After 30 days, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must be in the original packaging and include a receipt or proof of purchase. Cabinets returned in the unopened packaging will be charged a restocking fee.

Cabinets

The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of any measurements and the final cabinet selection. 

Custom made items

Custom made items such as wood doors, countertops, or custom finished cannot be returned.

Shipping returns

To return your product, ship your product to: 335 Banks Road, Kelowna, BC, V1X 6A1.

Customers are responsible for paying for shipping costs for returning any items. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund.

Delivery destinations may affect the time it may take for your exchanged product to arrive. Studio 5 Interiors is not responsible for shipping delays of third parties.

Studio 5 Interiors recommends using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for returning items. Studio 5 Interiors is not responsible for lost items and does not guarantee that we will receive your returned items through third parties.
